At Elaine’s Beauty Spot we are always thinking about our clients and working out the best ways to ensure that you get the most from your visits. That’s why it is necessary for us to have in place a clear policy that ensures the business runs smoothly and that you, along with everyone else, get the deserved skin and beauty treatment that produces the optimum results. To that end I would appreciate it if you could take a moment to read on and work with us is fulfilling our policies.
Appointments
We realise that it’s often very busy in today’s world, and that managing to reach places on time can often be difficult, often through no fault of your own. However we ask that you do everything that you can to arrive on time, or ideally 5 minutes early so that you don’t miss out on a single minute of your treatment. Arriving late may very well interfere with your appointment and impact those of other clients following you. It’s our policy to never keep you waiting on a timed appointment as we know that you wouldn’t want to be kept waiting. We simply ask that you return the compliment.
Arriving prior to your appointment time allows us to welcome you in, sign any paperwork such as a client consultation form, and work through any things with you that may need to be done prior to the treatment. Please note that any information shared with us is confidential and used for treatment purposes only.
Cancellations
We ask our clients to provide us with at least 48 hours notice if they need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Please call 01547 520 777 during opening hours to request any change to the status of your appointment.
When booking an appointment you are in fact reserving a therapist in advance. Our cancellation policy acts as compensation to the therapist and ensures that they still get paid. Failure to turn up to an appointment will mean that 100% of the missed treatment cost will be charged to the client. Failure to reschedule an appointment 24 hours prior to treatment will result in a 50% of the cost being charged to the customer.
Services that require more than 2 hours to complete will need to be pre booked by credit or debit card.
Purchase of retail products
Products must be paid for in full at the time of purchase by credit card, debit card, or cash. We are unable to accept cheques as they require a period of time to clear.
Products used in the salon are highly concentrated, so little is needed per application in order to achieve maximum results. We are here to help, so please feel free to discuss with us what your requirements are so that we are able to advise on which products would be of greatest benefit to you.
Prepaid or Courses of Treatments
These are valid for 12 months from date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are available for treatments, products, or a value of your choice. They are non-refundable and must be produced in the salon when they are being activated. Each voucher has a unique identifier that we use to cross reference with our records, that confirms date of purchase and value.
Vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase and cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred. We are unable to extend this period so expired vouchers cannot be accepted.
Our expert team will be delighted to assist you if you need advice when purchasing or choosing a treatment or product when redeeming the voucher.

Company Loyalty Rewards Card
These are cards issued by the salon to returning clients who demonstrate a loyalty to us, and who we wish to reward as a result. The card cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred.
Once a loyalty card has been filled it must be redeemed within 6 months. Also please note that some loyalty cards are treatments specific, e.g. a separate card for laser treatments.
All loyalty cards are the property of Elaine’s Beauty Spot and can be terminated, declined, or withdrawn at the company’s discretion.

Our prices can be found in our official price list in the salon and are subject to change without notice.
Data Security
Personal details taken from clients, during consultation procedures etc, will be kept safe and retained in the strictest of confidence.

Medical Conditions
Please inform your therapist of any medical conditions as they may be a contraindication to some treatments. This can be indicated on your client consultation form that you will get asked to fill in before your treatment. You are also more than welcome to speak to a therapist in confidence prior to treatment. For clients with a serious illness, we may require a letter from the doctor advising that it is safe to receive the requested treatment. This will need to be done before we can proceed.
Mobile Phones
In the interest of all our clients we request that visitors refrain from talking loudly on their phones. Ideally the phone should be put on silent or aeroplane mode for the duration of the visit so that other customers are not disturbed. Some of our treatments are of a relaxing nature, so any adverse noise will spoil the experience for the client.
Hygiene
Salon Hygiene is, of course, the utmost importance and to achieve optimal cleanliness all our sterilisation equipment is approved by the local Environmental Health Officer.
Patch Test
A patch test may be required for certain treatments such as tinting, LVL, and eyelash extensions.
A patch test can applied in the salon be or collected and taken home to do 24 hours prior to treatment. Please speak to a therapist for further information on Patch Testing.
Offers
Offers may appear on our website, or social media platforms such as Facebook. Please note that these are valid for a defined period and will revert back to the normal price once the offer period has elapsed.
Payment
We accept all major debit/credit cards and cash
Monthly Draws
We require any treatments to be booked within 3 months of the winning date.
You may be required to have pictures taken with your prize and used in future marketing.
You can't exchange prizes
Any products will not be posted and will require you to pick up them from salon.
